With hands-on experience in bookkeeping, administration, website management, social media and special promotions, I provide thoughtful, dependable support to independent shops, salons, wellness practitioners, food businesses and other owner-operated businesses in the Fredericton area. Why I Created The Studio

I’ve seen firsthand just how many responsibilities small business owners carry. When your days are centred around customers, products, employees and the work you love, important behind-the-scenes tasks can easily get pushed to the bottom of the list, not because they don’t matter, but because there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.

Miles Small Business Studio was created for owners who need a dependable extra pair of hands, but not necessarily a full-time employee. My goal is to offer thoughtful, flexible support that fits naturally into your business, without complicated packages, unnecessary pressure or a one-size-fits-all approach.

Experience With Small Business

My experience with small business has never fit neatly into just one box. I’ve worked alongside owners on the everyday tasks that keep things moving, from bookkeeping and administration to website updates, social media and customer communications.

I’ve also helped bring seasonal promotions and events to life, set up new systems and procedures, and supported businesses through larger changes such as openings, sales and ownership transitions. This hands-on experience has given me a genuine understanding of how quickly priorities can shift in a small business, and how valuable it is to have someone dependable helping behind the scenes.

When I’m not behind the desk, I’m usually busy fussing over my ducks, playing with my sweet, big Maremma, Finn, or baking sourdough bread for my always-hungry husband, David.
